Flying Here

Fort Frances, Ontario Canada:

  • Fly into Falls International Airport (INL) - International Falls, Minnesota via Delta out of Minneapolis or by private or charter plane.
  • Van transportation across US/Canada border
  • Float plane to Centre Island South (Travel Time: Approx. 30-40 minutes
  • Fly privately or by charter into Warroad International Memorial Airport (RRT) – Warroad, MN
  • Van transportation across US/Canada border to Young’s Bay (Travel Time: Approx. 75 minutes)
  • CIS shuttle  to Centre Island South (Travel Time: Approx. 20 minutes)

  • Fly into GFK via Delta from Minneapolis
  • Rent a car from numerous rental agencies
  • Drive to Roseau, MN - 120 miles continue on through US/CDN border to Young’s Bay - Northwest Angle - 62 miles
  • CIS guest shuttle to Centre Island South (Travel Time: Approx. 20 minutes)

  • Floatplane via Kenora Air to Centre Island South (Travel Time: Approx. 20 minutes)
  • Fly into Winnipeg J.A.R.I. Airport (YWG) - Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada (go through customs at airport)
  • Van to Young’s Bay (Travel Time: Approx. 3 hours)
  • CIS guest shuttle to Centre Island South (Travel Time: Approx. 20 minutes)

Driving Here

  • Travel north on #313 and cross the US/Canada border
  • Continue on #12 to Sprague, Manitoba
  • Turn right on #308 and follow to #525
  • Turn right on #525 and follow sign to the Northwest Angle/Young’s Bay. (Approx. 62 miles)
  • CIS guest shuttle to Centre Island South (Travel Time: Approx. 20 minutes*)
  • Travel north on #310, cross the US/Canada border
  • Continue on #12 to Sprague, Manitoba
  • Turn left on #308 and follow to #525
  • Turn right onto #525 and follow signs to the Northwest Angle/Young’s Bay (Approx. 62 miles)
  • CIS guest shuttle to Centre Island South (Travel Time: Approx. 20 minutes*)
